How I work
My psychotherapeutic approach is person-centered and rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with a supportive, empathetic environment. I believe it is radical in its ability to offer a non-judgemental, honest encounter between two people.

My clinical training includes a Diploma and an MSc in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy from The Metanoia Institute in London. I’ve worked in a range of counselling services, predominantly supporting women and in particular those who have received diagnoses of EUPD (previously BPD). I also have considerable experience working with individuals in the public eye as they manage a split identity, loneliness, lack of privacy and the demands of fame.
-
My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative and I am committed to creating an inclusive and non-discriminatory space where all people may feel valued and understood. My practice is informed by the values of trans-inclusive, intersectional feminism and the understanding that therapy should acknowledge both the individual as well as their environment, relationships, community and histories.
-
My research interests include using arts-based and narrative research methods to explore how self-hood and relationships are affected when mediated by technology, as well as attitudes to touch and the body in psychotherapeutic traditions

I am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and follow their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice. I also attend regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to support me in offering safe, inclusive and effective therapy.
